Montmorillinite/ kaolinite = $3.50 / lb.
Teachers have developed several classroom experiments using the proprieties of different types of clays. The Purdue Agronomy Club provides two types: Kaolinite and Mountmorilinite. The Kaolinite is a non-expanding 2:1 clay and the Mountmorilinite is a 2:1 expanding clay.
