Making the Most of Yield Monitor Data for On-farm Trials

Dr. Griffin is an Assistant Professor, Extension Economist with University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service. Griffin is from a Northeast Arkansas rice, cotton, and soybean farm. He earned a B.S. in Agronomy and M.S. in Agricultural Economics both from University of Arkansas and a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University. Between M.S. and Ph.D. programs, Griffin served as a University of Illinois Extension Educator – Farm Business Management and Marketing where he concentrated a portion of his programming on precision agricultural technologies. His graduate research focused on analysis of precision agriculture data, specifically by adapting spatial analysis techniques and evaluating field-scale experimental designs conducive for on-farm trials. Terry and Dana have two sons, Ty, 4, and Austin, 1.
