Agronomic Achievement Award The Agronomic Achievement Award was established by the department of Agronomy in 2000, to recognize and honor alumni and friends of the department for contributions to the profession or industry. Individuals selected must be in attendance to receive this Award. <<More>> Distinguished Agricultural Alumni Award The Distinguished Agricultural Alumni Award is presented by the School of Agriculture in April.This award was created in 1992 administered by the Office of the Dean of Agriculture. The selection committee is comprised of the Dean of Agriculture; four associate deans, twelve department heads and three unit directors. <<More>> Honorary Doctorate Purdue University confers the Honorary Doctorate. All nominations are reviewed by the appropriate faculty, the dean of the school, the University Committee on Faculty Promotions. The provost will review and recommend final candidates to the president with the Board of Trustees making final consideration. This honor is conferred during commencement exercises in May. <<More>> Farm Family of the Year The Farm Family of the Year award is presented by Beck's Hybrids, the office of the Commissioner of Agriculture and Indiana AgriNews. Some of the souvenirs that accompany this award are: a plaque, a yard sign, a shopping spree and a vacation package of part of this recognition. <<More>> |
