Agry 321
Exercise 14
The concept of this week's exercise is difficult and confusing.  You must have a thorough knowledge in Mendelian genetics, crossing over, PCR, and gel electrophoresis before performing the experiment.  Read Chapter 14 in detail and pay more attention to the section "How Is a Gene Mapped?"  Also review your notes in connection to the Arabidopsis seeds you planted in Lab 11 and studied the F2 generation in Lab 13.

In this week you will check your Sordaria plates in order to study the crossing over between  the gene tan and the centromere.

Quiz #3 will be given in the week after the Thanksgiving week, and will cover Exercises 10 to 14.
