SPONSORS
HOW
TO BECOME A SPONSOR
Indiana's Conservation Tillage Initiative (ICTI) is a cooperative effort,
between The Indiana Conservation Partnership, Agriculture Industry and
Indiana farmers. The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) received
initial funding from an EPA Section 319 grant through Indiana Department
of Environmental Management (IDEM). This funding was used to hire a
Conservation Tillage Coordinator.
The
Sycamore Trails Resource Conservation and Development Council has recently
adopted a project which will provide financial assistance to the Indiana
Conservation Tillage Initiative. This project will be called the Indiana
Conservation Tillage Initiative Fund (ICTI Fund). Sycamore Trails is
a not for profit conservation organization (501-C-3) which assists groups
and organizations in the conservation of natural resources in West Central
Indiana and participates in statewide efforts. The fund will receive
oversight from the ICTI steering committee. The steering committee is
seeking sponsorships from industry, groups, government, and individuals
that have a vested interest in the adoption of No-Till and high residue
farming systems.
The ICTI Fund will be used specifically to pay for expenses related
to field days, workshops, demonstration plots, information, and establishing
no-till farmer networks.
