Where Did I Find The Time?

These thoughts on Establishing a Web Presence
are part of a larger discussion on "Weaving Your Way on the Web
", presented as a PUCESA Professional Improvement Seminar, 5 December
1995, on the campus of Purdue University

- One can easily become addicted to Web Weaving, so beware!
- You will find yourself spending many hours of an evening or weekend
creating or revising Web pages.
Perception of
Benefits Encouraged Me to Make Time!
- I began Web Weaving 15 months ago knowing full well that few of my
Extension clientele were using the Internet, let alone the World Wide Web.
- My perception of the future benefits of using the Web as a new Extension
tool encouraged me to spend the necessary time to learn and begin developing WWW
documents.
- My goal has been to develop agronomic, and especially corn, WWW documents
and have them in place and available for the early agricultural adopters of the
World Wide Web.
- For once, I wanted to be proactive rather than reactive.
