Hay Quality Contest (Must be entered by 11 a.m.)
To participate in the contest, bring an unbroken bale of hay. A certificate will be awarded by the Indiana Forage Council and forage-related products will be provided by agribusinesses to the winner of each division (grass, legume and mixed). Hay will be tested with a Near Infrared Reflectance Spectrophotometer. Results will be announced within 2 weeks following the field day. Hay may be taken by the owner after the day’s activities.
