Michiana's Irrigation Scheduling Computer Program

Two areas in northern Indiana are classified as Hydrologic Unit Areas (HUA). These areas are:

TriCounty Hydrologic Unit Area

Upper Tippecanoe Hydrologic Unit Area

The primary goal of both HUA projects is to encourage farmers and other landowners to voluntarily adopt conservation practices that are economically viable and that protect, maintain, and improve surface and ground water quality.
