- DLO-NL is the Netherlands organization for agricultural
research. It works towards a competitive and sustainable agriculture,
horticulture, forestry and fisheries and an optimal development of rural areas.
DLO-NL comprises 12 research institutes with 3200 personnel and an annual
research budget of 350 million Dutch guilders.
- Gezondheidsdienst voor Dieren
- "The 'Gezondheidsdienst voor Dieren' (Animal Health Service)
or GD is an organisation of and for Dutch livestock farmers. As a
market-oriented organisation, the GD helps the Dutch livestock industry and
livestock products to attain the highest possible health and quality levels. As
an executive organisation, the GD has been approved by STERLAB and Labcode (for
laboratory activities) and STERIN (inspections and control on farms). The GD
focuses on all aspects of animal health, including quality assurance, a safe
product for consumers and livestock welfare."
