Thanks for everyone who came out for the meeting! We discussed canoeing and future social activities.  Then, broke off into our committees.

Social Activities-
We had a great time canoeing on Sunday!  We discussed maybe another canoeing trip in the spring and looking into other activities such as visiting a cave or hiking in Southern IN.  Also, we discussed an event such as bowling to get to know club members better.

New Community Schools-
We still need someone on Dec. 9, 2:00-2:45!!  Please email Misha (mnazaren@purdue.edu) if you are interested.  Also, please make sure to sublime your outline for your plans as soon as possible to Misha.

Public Relations-
We discussed web page ideas, such as uploading more pictures (such as from canoeing and other future events) and having a new environmental article link available every month.  We also discussed the bulletin board and ideas to post pictures, club news and environmental myths or facts.

T-Shirts-
We discussed more ideas for the T-shirt design.  We have a couple of great ideas and we will be voting on them at the next meeting.  If you have any more ideas please bring them!!  Next meeting we will also have the price of the shirt available.

Battery Recycling-
We discussed how to get the program started.  We are looking into other club involvement with the activity for more support.  Also, we discussed surveying students and faculty to see how many would actually participate.

Please remember to bring your dues ($5 for the YEAR!!) to the next meeting if you have not paid them yet.  Look for an email about the next meeting which should be scheduled for Nov. 1!!
