Assistant Professor/Turfgrass PhysiologyAddressDepartment of Agronomy Turf Science Program ResponsibilitiesTeaching 25% BackgroundB.S. Inner Mongolia Agricultural University , China , 1989. Research Areas:Research emphasis is on understanding physiological, molecular and genetic basis of environmental stress tolerance in turfgrass. Current research projects include: Identification of genes/markers linking to drought and salt tolerance through association mapping in perennial ryegrass; physiological and molecular mechanisms of flooding tolerance in turfgrass; and identification of drought stress and plant water status utilizing canopy temperature and spectral reflectance.
