Buckhorn Plantain (Plantago lanceolata): An introduced perennial belonging to the family plantaginaceae. A basal rosette of leaves arise from a fibrous root system. Leaves are long and narrow, often with a twist or curl. Erect leafless stems, 4 to 12 inches in length, terminate with a flower spike. Typically present on low quality turf with low to medium fertility levels.
