Chris Voglewede Global Leader for the Insecticide, Nematode, and Disease Management Technology Center

Chris received BS in Plant Protection and MS and Ph.D. degrees in Field Crop Entomology from Purdue University. Chris worked as Technical Service and Development Rep as well as other R&D and Commercial roles in American Cyanamid for 8 years. In 2000, he joined Dow AgroSciences as a Technology Transfer Leader in Indianapolis. Chris also worked with the Market Sell group to develop and lead the U.S. new hires technical training program as well as provided internal and external technology transfer support for ProFume, Sentricon, and the Rohm & Haas acquisition. Chris then lead the Product Delivery and Support Systems group within Supply R&D that was responsible for global sample shipping, the formulation development lab, the product integrity/new formulation biology team, and the product delivery team. He also led the Baits and Baiting Systems Innovation team and was very active in innovation efforts within DAS. Currently, he is Global Leader for the Insecticide, Nematode, and Disease Management Technology Center within Crop Protection R&D function. His team of Biology Specialists is responsible for leading global biology teams in the accurate field characterization, development, and technical support of discovery, development, and existing molecules/products as well as insect management traits. He has been very active in the Indiana and International Certified Crop Advisors Programs representing the crop protection industry and serving as Chairman of the IN Board and other positions for over 10 years.
