SWM Team Shared Drive File Organization

All members from the SWM team, from both Purdue and UNSA, have read and write access to a shared project folder. All files are separated into those for which you need IRB approval and those that all can see. Only team members who have completed IRB training have access to the IRB folder. Within both the IRB and non-IRB folders, the basic file structure can be found below. You can use this as a resource for finding files as well as storing new files.

  • External Communications
    This folder is for presentations and information about the Nexus, the SWM team, or any individual projects. Any informal presentations that are not considered part of any workshops or for conferences can go in this folder.
  • Objective 1: Social Institutions
    Any information from Objective 1 for which you do not need IRB approval can be found in this folder.
  • Objective 2: Spacial Data
    All geospatial and in-situ data can be found in this folder. Any files created from these data can also be stored here.
  • Objective 3: Co-production
    This folder is used for files related to planning, development, and execution of co-production focus groups in Arequipa, Majes, and Colca Canyon.
  • Objective 4: Facilitate Planning Framework
    Training materials related to the creation of tools and other materials from objectives 2 and 3 can be stored here.
  • Objective 5: Workshops
    Any files related to the planning, development, or teaching of workshops should be stored in this folder. Each workshop shouold have an individual folder.
  • Photos
    All photos related to SWM should be stored in this folder. Please organize photos by trip or event.
  • Project Management
    General information about the project can be found in this folder, including project objectives, participants, meeting agendas and minutes, budgets and proposals, and progress reports.
  • Publications, etc.
    All publishable files can be saved here. This includes posters, conference presentations, and journal articles.
  • Reference Documents
    This includes any material that has been gathered that can be considered background information. This includes information files from agencies or anything interesting found from background research.
  • Travel Information and Reports
    All files related to travel can be found here. This includes documents filed for travel for the Nexus like itineraries and travel reports. Any meetings or information learned from trips (that doesn't need IRB approval) can also be stored here. Please organize internal folders by trip.
