Broadening Participation for Integrated Water Management workshop

This workshop was designed to help participants:

  1. Implement strategies for water management leaders to interact with local populations and other groups in the water management process.
  2. Use the decision-making support tools for water management, which have been created by the Sustainable Water Management team of the Arequipa Nexus Institute, and discuss how they can be used to facilitate water management in the Arequipa Region.
  3. Respond and adapt to the contributions of water users to improve water management based on community needs.

Introductory SWAT for UNSA

Instructors: J.R. Frankenberger, F. Daneshvar, K.E. Mazer, L.C. Bowling, and E.F. Bocardo-Delgado

This course serves as an introduction to SWAT modeling software, the Soil and Water Assessment Tool and includes videos, readings, quizzes, and assignments for learning the material.

Image Processing Workshop

This virtual workshop was designed as an introduction to image processing, which provides a basic understanding of satellite imagery sources, as well as how to download, pre-process, and use image processing tools for environmental analysis.

  • Tutorial videos created and used for the five-week online workshop are available in English with Spanish subtitles.
  • Tutorial materials for the Multispec Software that can be used with PeruSAT imagery can be accessed through this guide.
