Education Questions

Educational programs about soil evaluation, other soil and natural resource issues, production agriculture, onsite waster disposal, and land use issues are conducted by high school instructors, the Purdue Cooperative Extension Service (CES), and Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCD). SWCD and Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) offices are usually combined or are near each other. The phone listings for local offices are in the County Office section of phone directories. In Tippecanoe County, for example, there are listings for County Agent/Extension Office, and NRCS.
